World Wildlife Day, Water and Forest Officials made aware of this day on 3 March
Many of them were made aware on Monday of March 3, 2025 about the importance of wildlife and their responsibility as water and forest agents whose first mission is the conservation of biodiversity through the protection of the environment. It is more than important that we live in harmony with the wild, natural world. Because, it is thanks to this world that we also exist as “Men”! Therefore, the aim of World Wildlife Day is to connect humanity with the natural world and to encourage everyone to continue learning and taking action for animals and plants throughout the year.
In essence, this is the key message that LCL KPIDIBA Bonaventure shared this morning with its colleagues at a rally at the Ministry of the Environment and Forest Resources.
As a reminder, on December 20, 2013, the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed March 3 as World Wildlife Day. This date refers to 3 March 1973, the day the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) was adopted.
